weird beauty
Weird Beauty: Fashion Photography Now was the exhibit I went to last night at the International Center for Photography. It featured tons of spreads from W, Vogue Paris and Italy, and Pop. Photographers like Steven Meisel, Nick Knight, Mario Sorrenti, Steven Klein and soo many more had their work on display. My favorite spread was from Vogue Italia in 2008 shot by Tim Walker called - A Magic World...

californication
So for the past 10 days, I was enjoying the 85 degree weather in sunny California. Turns out, I chose the perfect time to visit the golden state because over here in New York, it was as low as 6 degrees!! I saw some pretty interesting things in California, and stayed at the beautiful Chateau Marmont -- but theres just something about being back in New York that i can't explain.

two thousand nine.
Happy New Year!! Hopefully 2009 will be as good as 2008. I started my new year off by seeing probably the best movie, ever. Slumdog Millionaire. It was amazing........
now all I'm waiting for is the soundtrack to come out...
