dean or franco?

christmas break means laying around the house watching all of my new dvds. I watched the James Dean movie with James Franco today, and I'm really not sure who's better.... Dean, or Franco. Seriously.

sasha galliano

this editorial is a few years old, but it never gets old to look at. In 2003, Vogue Paris chose Sasha Pivovarova to dress up like the one and only John Galliano... and it was brilliant.

Per Zennström

The Swedes are at it again! I was clicking through the endless amount of links on Lundlund, and I came across Swedish photographer Per Zennstrom. His photos are my new favorite.

These are from his polaroid series...

"crazy colors" series...

At first glance, it seems like you are staring into some otherworldly, mars-like Labyrinth forest. Only to later find out, its strangely a miniature land of chocolate, meat and rotten apples.....

backlund

Winter is approaching and the only thing I can think of is cozy, chunky knits. Preferably the ones created by Sandra Backlund. Genius, she is. Really.

i think the closest i'll get to an actual Backlund creation is this scarf from the store oak....

close enough!!
